With a long history of award winning works with numerous Gold, Silver and Bronze from the Malaysian Video Awards (MVA) and the Malaysian 4A’s Kancil Awards’ including the prestigious Kancil Awards’ Post Production House of the Year 2004-05 and an accredited Kodak Imagecare Program Member since 2003.

The first post-production house in the country, APV has been a pioneering force in the industry since its inception, leading the way forward with Malaysia’s first Telecine and Digital Paint Systems. The growing number of ‘firsts’ for the industry from APV include the first 3D animation studio (in 1989); the first post-production house to offer Online Digital Suites equipped with Softimage and Autodesk Flame; then followed by: the first Quantel Henry, Cintel Ursa Gold in 1995 and 1996 accordingly; the first Integrated Motion Control and Autodesk Inferno in 1998; In 2000-2001, APV equipped suites with the first Cintel C-Reality and Quantel Infinity machines and the first Autodesk Smoke in 2005. Since then, APV’s facilities offer media professionals the latest technological advancements in the industry.

The first and only Film Lab with Kodak Imagecare Accreditation in Malaysia. The Lab is equipped to process in high quality: 16mm, 35mm, super 16mm and super 35mm film negatives.

Editing
To ensure that clients always get ‘the right cut’, APV’s offline and online suites offer: Apple Final Cut Pro 6, HD and NTSC Capable with 120 hours storage, DVD Mastering and Authoring.
Compositing & VFX
Getting that movie magic right, APV’s visual effects artists cast their magic using: Autodesk Flame 2008 installed with 5D Speed Six Monster, Sapphire v. 4.0.3 and NTSC Capable plug-ins; Autodesk Smoke 2007 installed with 5D Speed Six v. 5, Sapphire v. 3.0.8 and NTSC Capable plug-ins; and Quantel Henry Infinity with 5D Masher plug-ins.
Motion Graphics & Animation
For expressive and eye-catching graphics, designers at APV transform 2 dimensional titles and graphics into 3 and 4 dimensions with Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects and Autodesk 3ds Max.

APV is equipped to cater for any media format available: Digital Beta Players, Betacam SP Players, MiniDV, DVD Storage and recorder, VHS & Super VHS, DAT and Multimedia.

The commitment to uncompromising high-quality, industry advancements and spectrum of post-production services offered by APV is recognized nationally and worldwide, having been awarded MSC Malaysia Status company in 1998, an entitlement by the Malaysian Government (through MDEC-Multimedia Development Corporation of Malaysia) given to companies that develop or use multimedia technologies to produce or enhance products, services, and process development; receiving the exceptional Kodak Imagecare Accreditation; and official company registration with the Malaysian Ministry of Finance.
